Together with Thomas Heatherwick I had the opportunity to work on this interesting project to design a striking and unique set of architectural vessels for the three Louboutin’s new fragrances.
The Idea was to take a simple rectangular bottle, put a hole in the centre and turn it inside out so that instead of a single volume it would have a dynamic circle, as the “liquid is alive”. Reflections and translucencies are special and interesting too.
There were a lot of technological challenges and the object required a fine level of precision and the craftmanship of the glass moulding became quite complex
